A Language for Developing leadership; Leading Teaching & Learning – Quality Frameworks for developing leadership and teaching in ways that are relevant to your school

.

Foundations of Learning – Lenses on learning that underpin and inform effective learning, identifying and planning for high priority vulnerable learners and introducing a specific approach in maths – Fast Learning

.

Coordinating inputs, planning the launch of Fast Learning and reflecting on leadership skills

.

Support for the quality of implementation of approaches and strategies

.

As above plus a whole staff session on the Quality Framework for Learning & Teaching

Phase 2 (Approximately 12 weeks)

.

Coaching for growth (linked to QFLT and QFL) – A coaching model linked to the Quality Frameworks for Leadership and Teaching

.

Foundations of Learning; Professional Learning Cycles – Achievement Teams Setting up distinctive teams, focused on cohorts of learners that identify barriers to progress and generate strategies to address them

.

Coordinating inputs and planning the extension of Fast Learning, the launching Achievement Team Meetings and coaching.

.

Support for the quality of implementation of approaches and strategies

.

As above plus a whole staff session on the coaching and using the Quality Framework for Learning & Teaching

Phase 3 (Approximately 12 weeks)

Putting data to work – Using lines of enquiry through assessment data that are designed for senior leaders

.

Putting data to work, including Accelerating Progress Learning Sequences (APLSs) – Using lines of enquiry through assessment data that are designed for middle leaders and teachers. Applying a stepwise approach to taking vulnerable learners forward

Coordinating inputs and planning the launch of APLSs

.

Support for the quality of implementation of approaches and strategies. An implementation review benchmarked against descriptors for Leadership, Assessment for Learning and Pedagogy & Curriculum

Support for the quality of implementation of approaches and strategies. An implementation review based on fidelity of implementation of the six components
